Make quality your legacy. Shape the future of outbound operations at Aston Martin.
At Aston Martin, precision and excellence don’t stop with the engine—they extend to every part, every shipment, and every customer touchpoint. We're looking for a driven and hands-on Lead Quality Controller – Outbound to take the reins of outbound quality at our Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) in Wolverton Mill, Milton Keynes. You’ll be onsite 5 days a week and will report directly to the Head of Quality, you will be pivotal in shaping how we package, process, and deliver parts across the globe.
This isn’t a desk job. It’s a fast-moving, operational leadership role for someone who thrives on solving problems with data, streamlining processes, and driving measurable improvements. Whether it’s implementing a smarter packaging method, adopting new equipment, or introducing better team training, you’ll have the autonomy to innovate and the visibility to see your impact.
You’ll be responsible for outbound quality operations—inspecting shipments, analysing quality trends, guiding corrective actions, and leading key improvement initiatives. You'll collaborate daily with warehouse and logistics teams, act as the outbound quality voice at committee level, and manage critical performance metrics, especially around reducing outbound errors and improving shipping accuracy.
To succeed here, you’ll need a background in quality control within automotive, logistics, or a similarly fast-paced warehouse environment. You should bring experience in packaging standards and compliance, along with a working knowledge of continuous improvement tools like Six Sigma or Kaizen. You’ll be skilled in using Microsoft tools—particularly Excel and Power BI—to uncover insights and drive improvements, while remaining just as confident engaging directly on the operations floor as you are interpreting performance data.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset—someone excited by the opportunity to shape systems and standards from the ground up. You’ll be a self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities, lead change with confidence, and bring energy and clarity to cross-functional teams.
Join Aston Martin and you'll be empowered to deliver real results. Your improvements won’t go unnoticed—they’ll be seen in KPIs, celebrated in performance reviews, and felt by every Aston Martin customer who receives parts on time and in perfect condition. We live our values—Unity, Trust, Openness, Ownership, and Courage—and in this role, you’ll embody every one of them.
Apply now to drive quality forward, shape our outbound future, and leave a lasting legacy with one of the most iconic brands in the world.
