Apply now Job no: 510572
Work type: Graduate Position
Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire
Categories: Body Engineering

We are recruiting for 2 x Body Engineering Graduates, where each of you will become a valued member of our Body Engineering team. As part of your role, you'll drive our team forward. You'll need to be highly proactive, comfortable with working with a high degree of autonomy, and able to integrate quickly and effectively into high-performing cross-functional teams. Your remit will be to provide support for vehicle launches, through the identification and root cause analysis of engineering issues, as well as the implementation of temporary containments and permanent corrective actions.

To excel in this role, you'll need to embody unity, trust, and openness. This role requires an individual who is adaptable and resilient, able to positively adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, while also juggling multiple tasks or projects simultaneously. You should also possess evidence of leadership potential. Working with a team of experts, you'll be responsible for supporting them towards success.

Your day-to-day activities will include applying a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals to component design and integration, using CAD for the creation or optimisation of component designs, and requiring familiarity with CAE techniques such as FEA. You must also have an awareness of design requirements and constraints relating to different materials and manufacturing methods.

You're not the type to shy away from challenges or seek a role without responsibility. In this role, you will be given the chance to innovate and question existing practices, while also building on your knowledge base. What's important to you is the opportunity to confidently engage with stakeholders from other functions and set your own priorities based on business requirements.

As a Body Engineering Graduate, you are a proactive individual who can work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Your remit would involve contributing to vehicle launches and implementing engineering solutions. This role offers rapid progression towards more senior positions, making it an exciting opportunity for ambitious graduates.

The Key Requirements...

  • MSc or Meng in Mechanical, Automotive, or Motorsport Engineering
