Now, we’re looking for a talented individual to join us as New Model Quality Degree Apprentice, helping to bring new vehicle concepts to life and setting new standards for excellence in design, craftsmanship, and performance.

What Makes This Opportunity Unique?

As part of the New Model Quality team, you’ll play an active role in defining and delivering the quality standards for our new vehicles. From concept to production, you’ll gain hands-on experience while learning from industry experts—all as part of a structured degree apprenticeship program combining academic learning and practical application.

You’ll work alongside our Design, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure Aston Martin vehicles exceed customer expectations, showcasing your passion for automotive innovation while developing the skills to build an exciting career in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your journey will include:

• Creating Excellence: Develop Vehicle Inspection Standards (VIS) and Evaluation Instructions (EIs) to ensure precise vehicle build assessments.
• Driving Quality: Collaborate on inter-departmental audits, wiring and piping assessments, and pre-production vehicle testing.
• Setting the Standards: Build guides for new models, ensuring they meet regional legal requirements and build specifications.
• Training for Success: Equip our Cars Quality teams with the knowledge and skills they need to deliver perfection.
• Making an Impact: Contribute to the development of quality processes that influence every stage of the vehicle lifecycle.
• A blend of hands-on experience and academic learning through block weeks and online study.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking individuals who are at the beginning of their engineering journey. While prior experience is not required, you should demonstrate a strong passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to learning and growth. You will need excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and drive results, as well as a meticulous eye for detail to ensure the highest standards are met. A curious and proactive mindset is essential, doubled by a hands-on engineering approach and the ability to challenge designs and processes to achieve perfection. Enthusiasm for crafting world-class vehicles and a desire to make a meaningful impact are key to success in this role.

Essential requirements:

• 3 A’s to include Mathematics and Physics*
  Applicants with a strong profile who are studying one from A level Physics or A level Mathematics may be considered.
  Unless specified differently above, you will also need a minimum of GCSE grade 4 or C (or an equivalent qualification) in English Language and either Mathematics or a Science subject.
• Able to commute to the Gaydon site by own means/personal transport.
• Able to attend Warwick University* by own means/personal transport.
