Our HR team is looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources Degree Apprentice to join our 4-year fixed term role. This unique opportunity will provide a comprehensive understanding of how our HR function drives Aston Martin's business objectives and supports our overall strategy.

Throughout the apprenticeship, you'll work closely with key HR support functions, such as Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Reward and Benefits, Learning and Development, and other departments. You’ll gain insights into how business decisions affect the wider organisation and how different teams come together to drive Aston Martin's success.

This program will develop your skills and offer real-life industry insights. You’ll rotate across various HR teams, gaining exposure to the full spectrum of HR activities and laying a strong foundation for your career in Human Resources.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Experience the full employee lifecycle: Learn about the various elements of the  HR processes from start to finish and understand the unique roles each team plays within Aston Martin.
  • Rotate through multiple teams: For a well-rounded experience, spend time with HR Operations, Learning and Development, talent acquisition and various project teams.
  • Manage projects and deadlines: Perform administration activities on  our performance management system ‘SPARK’, support training programs, and other initiatives, balancing multiple responsibilities and delivering results.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders: Communicate effectively across AML departments and with external  partners.
  • Problem-solving on the go: Work in a fast-paced, flexible environment where adaptability is key.
  • Collaborate across HR functions: Work with teams like Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Operations, Learning and Development, Reward, HR Business partnering teams and more to understand their impact on the business.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Three A-Levels BBB or equivalent (including GCSE English and maths)  OR Minimum of six months work-related experience in a HR role working in a Business Partner or Advisor-type capacity.
  • Able to commute to the Gaydon site by own means/personal transport.
  • Hands-on approach: Willing to dive in and take on tasks.
  • Team player: Comfortable working across different departments.
  • Proactive and adaptable: Ready to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and roll up your sleeves.
  • Solution-focused mindset: Confident in handling challenges and finding ways to improve processes.
  • Resilience; fast paced, changing environment

  • Ability to travel to multiple sites if required (project-based work)
