What You’ll Be Doing:
As a member of the Engine Design Team, you’ll gain hands-on experience at the core of our Powertrain division, while developing skills that will accelerate your career. You’ll:
- Design in Action: Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Siemens PLM Teamcenter & NX Software.
- Innovate Virtually: Collaborate with virtual verification teams to optimise your designs with latest CAE tools and techniques
- Test & Tweak: Support physical and virtual testing of systems and components.
- Data Mastery: Collate and input data for simulations.
- Expand Horizons: Rotate through multiple teams, acquiring diverse expertise and a well-rounded skillset.
- Blended Learning: Combine hands-on work, online learning, and focused workshops for a truly immersive experience.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking an individual who is curious and inquisitive, always eager to learn, asks questions, and challenges conventional thinking. You should be approachable and collaborative, thriving in a supportive and inclusive environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll need to engage confidently with people at all levels. Above all, we value a proactive mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for innovation and problem-solving
Essential requirements:
- A level typical offer*
AAA to include Mathematics and Physics.
Applicants with a strong profile who are studying one from A level Physics or A level Mathematics may be considered.
Unless specified differently above, you will also need a minimum of GCSE grade 4 or C (or an equivalent qualification) in English Language and either Mathematics or a Science subject. - Able to commute to the Gaydon site by personal transport.
- Able to attend Warwick University* by personal transport.
