As an apprentice, you'll collaborate with experienced engineers and mentors who will guide you through vehicle concept development and design. Not only will you learn valuable skills, but you'll also actively contribute to projects that transform our vehicle concepts into reality.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Contributing to vehicle concepts and layouts, gaining a deep understanding of the full development process.
  • Taking on real engineering tasks such as designing CAD solutions and documenting your work.
  • Attending team meetings to share ideas and collaborate on solutions.
  • Rotating through various teams to build a broad skill set, including Body Engineering, CAE, NVH, Chassis, Powertrain, and Vehicle Attributes.
  • Blended Learning: A mix of hands-on experience, online learning, and block weeks to help you grow.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Apprentices who are passionate about engineering, curious about solving problems, and ready to bring a positive, can-do attitude. You would enjoy working with others, building strong relationships, and engaging well at all levels. Being eager to learn and balancing attention to detail with a broader perspective will also aid your growth in this role.

 

Essential requirements:

  • 3 A’s at A level to include Mathematics and Physics*
    Applicants with a strong profile who are studying A level Physics or A level Mathematics may be considered.
    Unless specified differently above, you will also need a minimum of GCSE grade 4 or C (or an equivalent qualification) in English Language and either Mathematics or a Science subject.
  • Able to commute to Gaydon headquarters by personal transport, due to limited public transport to the site.
  • Able to attend Warwick University* by personal transport as and when required.
