Sustainability Adviser
Job no: 511662
Work type: Full Time - Permanent
Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire
Categories: Finance
At Aston Martin, we believe in shaping a sustainable future.
Our Racing. Green. strategy sits at the heart of this journey – and we’re looking for a passionate Sustainability Adviser to help us drive it forward.
This is more than just a job. It’s an opportunity to play a key role in embedding sustainability into every part of our business, from carbon reduction and circular economy initiatives to social impact programmes and transparent reporting. No two days will be the same – one day you may be analysing data for our sustainability report, the next engaging with colleagues across design, manufacturing, and procurement to influence decisions that make a real difference.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the delivery of our sustainability strategy, Racing. Green.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the company to ensure sustainability is at the heart of every decision.
- Helping deliver key reports, including our Annual Report, Sustainability Report, and submissions to ESG indices.
- Supporting compliance with sustainability regulations and driving improvements to our processes and policies.
- Working with internal and external partners and stakeholders – from suppliers and industry groups to charities and community organisations – to make a positive impact.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone with at least one year of experience in sustainability, whether gained through professional work, volunteering, or academic projects, and a broad curiosity about the full sustainability agenda.
Beyond this, what will really make you stand out are the skills you bring to support and influence the business. You’ll be confident working with data, able to analyse and report on performance with ease, and comfortable using tools such as Excel or Power Point. You’ll bring enthusiasm, a thirst for learning and attention to detail in all that you do.
Strong organisational skills and a flair for managing projects will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment, while your proactive, problem-solving mindset will enable you to find solutions where others see challenges. Just as importantly, you’ll be a strong communicator, engaging colleagues with clarity and confidence.
A degree in a sustainability-related subject would be ideal, but we’re equally open to hearing from those with transferable expertise in areas such as strategy, consulting, or project management who are keen to apply their skills in a sustainability context.
Why join us?
- Be part of a small, dynamic team with big influence, working across the entire business.
- Gain exposure to a wide variety of projects – fast-paced, hands-on, and always evolving.
- Help build a culture of sustainability in an iconic global brand.
- Hybrid working, with time spent at our stunning Gaydon HQ in Warwickshire balanced with flexibility for life outside of work.
At Aston Martin, we’re passionate about creating a workplace where everyone can thrive. If you share our enthusiasm for sustainability and want to make an impact in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, we encourage you to apply – even if you don’t tick every box.
