Think about the last time you sat in a truly exceptional car.
Before the engine started, before the first corner, before the technology came to life, there was already a feeling. Everything felt naturally within reach. The driving position felt instinctive. The controls made sense. The interaction between driver, passenger and vehicle felt effortless.
That feeling doesn't happen by accident.
At Aston Martin, we're looking for an Occupant Package, Ergonomics, Comfort & Useability Manager to help shape how customers experience our vehicles from the moment they step inside. This is an opportunity to influence one of the most important aspects of vehicle design: the connection between people and the car.
In this role, you'll lead the team responsible for defining, developing and validating the occupant package, ergonomics, comfort and usability attributes across our future vehicle programmes. You'll help create vehicles that not only look extraordinary but feel intuitive, engaging and unmistakably Aston Martin.
You'll work at the intersection of engineering, design, technology and customer experience, translating customer expectations into measurable requirements and industry-leading solutions. From early concept development through to production, you'll guide decisions that influence seating positions, reach zones, visibility, comfort, HMI usability and overall occupant experience.
You'll also play a key role in shaping the future direction of the function. This includes developing team capability, defining attribute roadmaps, establishing standards and best practices, and helping create world-class ergonomics and HMI development facilities supported by leading-edge virtual and physical tools. Your work will help ensure Aston Martin continues to deliver vehicles that feel as exceptional on the inside as they do from the outside.
Success in this position will come from balancing technical expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder management. You'll collaborate closely with vehicle engineering teams, programme teams, attribute specialists, quality functions and senior stakeholders across the business. You'll bring people together around a shared vision while navigating competing priorities, complex programme requirements and challenging delivery timelines.
We're keen to hear from people who have experience in occupant packaging, ergonomics, HMI or customer-focused product development within an automotive or related industry environment. You may currently be leading an attribute team, working within vehicle integration, ergonomics, usability or package engineering, and looking for a role that offers greater influence across an entire vehicle programme.
Beyond technical knowledge, you'll be someone who enjoys developing people, challenging conventional thinking and turning customer insights into tangible product improvements. You'll be comfortable making decisions, communicating complex ideas clearly and leading teams through evolving technical challenges.
In return, you'll join a business where your work has a direct impact on the vehicles our customers drive and experience around the world. You'll have the opportunity to shape future Aston Martin products, work with passionate and highly skilled colleagues, and help define the next generation of luxury performance vehicles.
If you're excited by creating exceptional customer experiences, influencing vehicle development at the highest level and leading a team that sits at the heart of product creation, we'd love to hear from you.
