Some people manage aftersales performance. Others shape what ownership of a luxury brand feels like.
At Aston Martin, the ownership experience is every bit as important as the vehicle itself. Every service visit, every customer interaction, every parts enquiry and every moment of support contributes to how our customers experience one of the world's most iconic luxury brands.
We're looking for an Aftersales Business Manager- Japan to join our Regional Aftersales team and play a key role in elevating the aftersales performance, customer experience and commercial success of our retailer network. Based within the region and working closely with retailers, investors and senior stakeholders, this is a unique opportunity to influence both business performance and customer loyalty across an important market for Aston Martin.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial performance, customer experience and retailer development. You'll act as a trusted advisor to Aston Martin retailers, supporting General Managers, Aftersales Directors and investors with the insight, guidance and business consultancy needed to maximise opportunities and drive sustainable growth.
You'll be responsible for helping the retailer network achieve ambitious targets across parts sales, accessories, extended warranties, customer satisfaction and dealer satisfaction. Using business intelligence, performance data and market insight, you'll identify opportunities for improvement and work collaboratively with retailers to develop actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
Customer experience will be at the heart of everything you do. You'll support the delivery of Aston Martin's global aftersales strategy, helping retailers implement customer experience programmes, CRM initiatives and marketing activities that strengthen customer retention, increase engagement and create an ownership journey worthy of the Aston Martin name.
You'll also play an important role in ensuring retailers operate to the highest standards. Through regular reviews, audits and performance assessments, you'll help maintain compliance with Aston Martin dealer standards, commercial terms and aftersales processes, providing support and guidance wherever improvements are required.
As Aston Martin continues to evolve, you'll help futureproof our aftersales operations. Working alongside retailers, you'll support capacity planning, workforce development and facility readiness, ensuring networks are well positioned to support future growth, maximise commercial opportunities and deliver exceptional customer service without compromise.
The role offers significant variety and visibility. One day you may be supporting a retailer with a complex business challenge, the next you could be working with technical specialists to resolve vehicle-off-road cases, managing parts backorders, supporting escalated customer concerns or analysing performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. You'll become a key link between our retailers, regional teams and headquarters, helping ensure smooth collaboration and outstanding outcomes for both customers and the business.
We're looking for a commercially minded individual with experience within the luxury automotive sector and a strong understanding of the aftersales environment. You'll have a proven ability to interpret business performance metrics, influence stakeholders and develop strategies that improve both commercial results and customer satisfaction.
You'll be comfortable analysing data, presenting recommendations and communicating confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex commercial relationships will be essential to success in this role.
An appreciation of automotive engineering across mechanical, electrical and body repair disciplines will allow you to effectively support technical discussions and customer escalations, while your attention to detail and analytical mindset will help drive informed decision-making.
You'll thrive working independently, managing multiple priorities and balancing strategic planning with day-to-day operational support. Strong Excel, PowerPoint and business systems knowledge will be important, alongside the flexibility to support international meetings, frequent dealer visits and cross-time-zone collaboration.
Just as importantly, you'll bring curiosity, ownership and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll understand the evolving luxury landscape, embrace innovation and enjoy working in an environment where every interaction contributes to strengthening the Aston Martin brand.
This is a rare opportunity to influence the full ownership journey, develop meaningful retailer partnerships and play an important role in shaping the future of aftersales performance within one of the world's most admired luxury brands.
If you're passionate about customer experience, commercial excellence and helping luxury businesses deliver extraordinary ownership journeys, we'd love to hear from you.
