We’re looking for a senior programme leader to take ownership of one of the most important technology transformations at Aston Martin – the delivery of our enterprise-wide PLM programme, centred on Siemens Teamcenter. This isn’t just about implementing a system; it’s about reshaping how our engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams connect, collaborate and deliver.
Sitting within our IT function, a critical enabler of innovation and business performance, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving how we design, build and deliver our ultra-luxury vehicles in a more connected, data-driven way. IT at Aston Martin isn’t a back-office function; it’s at the heart of how we unlock efficiency, improve quality and create a seamless end-to-end experience across the business.
At the centre of this transformation is IBCM (Integrated BOM and Change Management). This programme will establish a single version of the truth across engineering and downstream systems, removing manual handoffs, connecting change directly to impacted parts and creating a fully integrated BOM landscape across DBOM, EBOM and MBOM.
As Head of PLM Programme, you’ll have single-point accountability for bringing this vision to life.
You’ll define the PLM roadmap, shaping clear, outcome-led delivery that aligns directly to business value. You’ll lead a truly cross-functional programme, bringing together Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and IT into a cohesive operating model with strong governance, clear decision-making and pace of delivery.
Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll own executive engagement, steering programme direction through governance forums, managing trade-offs and ensuring clarity at every stage. You’ll also take full ownership of delivery, from solution and integration through to data, testing, cutover and early life support, ensuring everything is aligned, robust and ready for go-live.
A key part of the role will be driving the integration between Teamcenter and our wider technology landscape, including ERP, to remove manual processes and enable seamless data flow across the business. Alongside this, you’ll manage strategic partners, holding them accountable for outcomes, commercial performance and delivery excellence.
Ultimately, this role is about more than delivery, it’s about ensuring the capability lands successfully, is adopted by the business and delivers long-term value.
We’re looking for someone who brings deep experience leading enterprise PLM programmes, ideally within complex engineering or manufacturing environments. You’ll have strong, hands-on knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter, a clear understanding of integrated BOM structures and change governance, and proven experience integrating PLM with ERP systems.
Just as importantly, you’ll be an enterprise leader, confident working at executive level, comfortable navigating complexity and able to bring multiple stakeholders and partners together to deliver a shared vision. You’ll be someone who knows how to establish structure and governance, but also when to challenge, adapt and make decisive, fact-based calls to keep momentum moving.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of time on-site in Gaydon alongside occasional travel as needed to support delivery across our wider network.
