HR Systems Lead
If you’re someone who enjoys bringing people, systems and technology together, this is a unique opportunity to shape how HR operates in a modern, data-driven environment. This role is based in Gaydon, working 39 hours per week on a 6-month fixed-term contract, reporting into the HR Director with a dotted line into the IT Director.
Sitting at the intersection of HR and IT, you’ll lead the evolution of the HR systems landscape, helping move from multiple platforms into a single, streamlined Infor GHR solution. With a strong focus on HR, alongside close collaboration with IT, you’ll ensure systems are not only fit for purpose, but future ready.
You’ll act as the key bridge between HR and the IT Transformation & Delivery team, ensuring roadmaps are aligned and HR priorities are fully embedded into wider enterprise technology strategies. From designing an integrated “hub and spoke” architecture to improving data flow across systems, you’ll play a central role in creating a connected and efficient digital ecosystem.
This role is as much about transformation as it is about delivery. You’ll review existing HR processes, identify inefficiencies and implement smarter, system-led solutions that enhance the employee experience. Alongside this, you’ll lead on system improvements, troubleshoot issues, and act as the go-to expert across HR platforms, supporting users, developing guidance and driving greater adoption.
There’s also a strong focus on innovation. You’ll explore how AI and digital workflows can be embedded into existing systems to maximise value, while working within established governance frameworks. From enhancing talent acquisition processes to enabling smarter insights, you’ll help turn ideas into practical, high-impact solutions.
You’ll bring experience working with enterprise HR systems such as Infor GHR (or similar), alongside a strong understanding of both HR processes and IT system architecture. You’re comfortable translating between the two, confident discussing employee lifecycle and compliance, as well as integrations, data flows and system design.
You’ll likely have experience delivering system or transformation projects in fast-paced environments, backed by strong data literacy and a clear understanding of GDPR and data governance. Just as importantly, you’ll be a strong collaborator, able to influence stakeholders and bring others with you on the journey.
If you’re looking for a role where you can modernise systems, drive meaningful change and help shape the future of HR through technology, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.
