We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Commercial team. This is a pivotal role shaping the future of our product portfolio, ensuring every vehicle reflects our brand, meets customer expectations, and delivers commercial success.
Job Purpose
You will support the development of customer-focused product definitions and lead their successful delivery to market. Acting as a key interface between Commercial, Engineering, Design and Take-To-Market (TTM) teams, you will play a central role in future vehicle programmes from concept through to launch.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Planning
- Support product planning, strategy, marketing, and commercial activities
- Define product lifecycle actions and long-term product strategy
- Create product positioning, messaging, and customer attribute requirements
- Shape volume and pricing strategies to meet business objectives
- Lead options, colour & trim strategy and take rate analysis
- Conduct competitor and technology benchmarking
- Define research programme requirements with customer insights team
Product Delivery
- Collaborate with Heads of Carline, Programme Teams, Engineering and key launch functions
- Participate in gateway reviews, engineering reviews, and PST meetings
- Support the development of product launch plans, integrating sales and marketing inputs into lifecycle plans
- Develop and implement tactical product actions
- Deliver product performance reporting to support business performance reviews
Global Alignment & Stakeholder Management
- Lead integration and alignment of product and programme requirements across regional operations teams
- Define regional product offers and price positioning
- Manage product information flow and communication channels globally
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience within the automotive industry
- Strong presentation skills (written and verbal), with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Strong planning and organisational capabilities, with both strategic and tactical thinking
- Demonstrated commercial awareness and business acumen
- Highly motivated with exceptional self-discipline and attention to detail
