Aston Martin is seeking a Senior Engineer – Perceived Quality to support the definition, development and verification of Perceived Quality (PQ) across all vehicle programmes. This role is critical in shaping both the subjective and objective KPIs that influence customer perception and ensure our vehicles meet the highest standards expected of an iconic luxury brand.
Role overview
- Support the delivery of the Perceived Quality (PQ) attribute at vehicle, system and component level, using virtual and physical assessment events.
- Contribute to PQ strategy, specifications, standards and deployment roadmaps aligned to Aston Martin brand DNA and market derivatives.
- Work closely with APC, Vehicle Attributes and Commodity teams to drive benchmarking, research, BoD/BoP content and best‑practice deployment.
- Track PQ performance through programme gateways, supporting DFMEAs, DVPs, issue resolution, reporting and review forums.
About you
- Experience in Perceived Quality or vehicle attribute engineering within an automotive OEM or closely related sector.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience translating voice of the customer into measurable attribute targets.
- Comfortable working across cross‑functional teams within structured product development frameworks.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter, NX, Alias and/or Adobe tools is desirable.
- Engineering degree (or equivalent); materials or vehicle attribute bias preferred.
- Highly organised, detail‑focused, and confident representing a world‑class luxury automotive brand.
Level 3 driving permit may be required for benchmarking activities.
