At Aston Martin, supply chain excellence is built on precision, insight and trust in data. As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how data is engineered, interpreted and used to drive smarter operational decisions across the business.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you’ll see your work make a real difference. From improving data pipelines to designing meaningful KPIs and dashboards, you’ll help transform complex operational data into insight that teams can rely on every day.
What the experience looks like
You’ll act as the day-to-day analytics partner for Supply Chain, sitting at the intersection of business and IT. Your work will involve collaborating closely with IT colleagues to build, test and improve reliable data pipelines from core systems such as Infor LN, ensuring data flows smoothly into curated, analytics-ready datasets.
You’ll take ownership of translating that data into trusted KPIs, automated reporting and Tableau dashboards that support operational improvement and enable self-service insight. Rather than responding to one-off requests, you’ll continuously evolve dashboards and data products so teams can answer their own questions with confidence.
A key part of your role will be bringing structure and clarity to how performance is measured. You’ll help define data models, KPI logic and drill-down structures, documenting definitions clearly so reporting is consistent, transparent and trusted across Supply Chain.
You’ll also be the first point of contact for analytics requests, shaping loosely defined questions into clear, prioritised deliverables. Whether you’re analysing supplier performance, delivery risk, inventory health or arrears, you’ll provide insight that goes beyond the numbers, offering clear recommendations that support decision-making.
Quality matters here. You’ll work closely with IT to support data governance and stewardship, building validation checks, reconciling data across systems and addressing root causes of data issues to improve confidence in reporting.
What you’ll bring
You’ll combine strong technical capability with a practical, business-focused mindset, and enjoy working with data that directly supports operational decisions. In particular, you’ll bring:
- Strong SQL skills, including querying complex datasets, building reusable views and transformation logic, and considering performance and data integrity.
- Strong Python skills for data manipulation, cleansing, and automation, writing maintainable, production-ready code.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve data quality incidents—investigating whether issues originate in upstream pipelines, source systems, transformations, or reporting logic—and deliver corrective actions with appropriate testing.
- Experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines or data preparation processes, rather than one-off extracts.
- Hands-on experience delivering Tableau dashboards end to end, from requirements gathering through build, iteration and ongoing support.
- Confidence working with complex operational or ERP data and explaining definitions, logic and outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- A high level of attention to detail, particularly around data validation, reconciliation and ensuring numbers consistently tie out.
- At least three years’ experience in a data, analytics or insights role delivering business-facing reporting and analysis.
- A collaborative approach, with the confidence to act as a bridge between Supply Chain teams and IT, shaping requests and managing priorities effectively.
Please note this is a 12 months FTC ending in February 2027.
