Drive the future of tax in a world-class luxury automaker.

Aston Martin is building something exceptional — and our Finance team is central to that journey. As we continue to grow as a global brand and innovate in the world of ultra-luxury performance vehicles, we’re now seeking a talented and motivated Direct Tax Manager to lead our UK tax compliance process.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of tax at Aston Martin. You’ll work closely with our Senior Group Tax Manager and have genuine exposure to senior stakeholders across the business, with the autonomy to make your mark.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing and submitting UK corporation tax returns, including relevant claims and elections.
  • Managing corporate interest restriction calculations and returns.
  • Assisting with quarterly IFRS tax reporting and statutory account disclosures.
  • Reviewing overseas tax returns and supporting data collection.
  • Supporting wider tax operations including transfer pricing, R&D tax claims and HMRC engagement.
  • Playing an active role in tax risk management, including SAO compliance and our group Tax Risk Register.
  • Keeping up to date with tax legislation and sharing insights across the business.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to hold a professional qualification in accounting and/or tax, backed by a strong technical foundation developed in practice or within a large corporate environment. Your experience in UK corporate tax compliance and reporting will be essential, along with a working knowledge of Alphatax or OneSource software. You’ll have a solid grasp of IAS 12 and a good understanding of tax governance frameworks.

Equally important are your commercial awareness and strong communication skills, enabling you to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be methodical, process-driven, and always looking for ways to improve. A proactive mindset and a passion for keeping up with evolving tax legislation will set you apart.

Why join us?

At Aston Martin, you’ll do more than fill a role — you’ll shape a legacy. This position offers huge scope to grow, influence and evolve alongside our tax strategy. You’ll be empowered to make decisions, challenge the norm, and take your career to new heights — all while contributing to one of the most iconic marques in the world.
