What does it take to turn global ambition into a sales plan that delivers?
At Aston Martin, our Sales Operations team connects Gaydon with our regional sales teams and dealer network across the world. Together, we shape sales targets, monitor demand and ensure our commercial plans support both our customers and the future of our business.
As Sales Planning Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of this global operation. You’ll take ownership of the annual sales planning process, bringing together regional insight, customer demand and commercial performance to create a consolidated plan that delivers for the business.
This is far more than a forecasting role. You’ll influence important decisions across Global Sales, Manufacturing and Finance, balancing wholesale, retail and dealer stock while ensuring our volume plans support contribution and EBITDA targets. Your insight will help senior commercial and executive leaders understand performance, anticipate challenges and focus on the actions that will make the greatest difference.
You’ll lead the monthly sales forecasting cycle, coordinate volume submissions into Manufacturing and ensure the right vehicles are ordered at the right time. You’ll also play an important role in the introduction of new models, shaping global order profiles to support demonstrator, show car and customer vehicle timings across each territory.
Working closely with Regional Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Product Strategy and Marketing, you’ll bring clarity to complex information and turn data into meaningful recommendations. You’ll represent Sales Operations in Take to Market reviews, oversee key reporting and performance metrics, and help manage specialist vehicle requirements across Q and VIP Sales.
You’ll also lead and develop talented colleagues within the sales planning and analysis team, creating an environment where people can contribute, grow and deliver at their best.
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in demand planning, forecasting and sales operations within automotive or a related industry. You’ll be commercially astute, highly organised and comfortable challenging assumptions to identify the best outcome for the business.
Just as importantly, you’ll know how to build credibility and influence at every level. You’ll communicate confidently with regional teams, senior managers and directors, combining strong attention to detail with the ability to see the wider commercial picture. Experience in Sales and Operations Planning, commercial negotiation or decision-making would be particularly valuable.
