Some projects implement technology, others transform how an entire organisation works.
At Aston Martin, we're embarking on a significant step forward in how we manage requirements, engineering data and business processes across the organisation. We're looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of our new Requirements Management Platform, helping create the foundations for more connected, efficient and data-driven ways of working across the business.
This is an opportunity to lead a business-critical programme that sits at the intersection of technology, process improvement and organisational change. You'll be responsible for driving the successful implementation of Polarion, a centralised requirements management platform that will support collaboration across multiple functions and play a key role in Aston Martin's future digital transformation journey.
Working closely with stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and IT, you'll bring structure, clarity and momentum to a complex delivery programme. You'll coordinate internal teams, external implementation partners and senior stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered successfully, while maintaining a relentless focus on business value and user adoption.
This is far more than a traditional project management role; We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable managing governance, risks, budgets and delivery plans as they are building stakeholder relationships, influencing decisions and driving change. You'll help shape new ways of working, support the integration of critical enterprise systems and ensure the platform becomes an embedded and valued part of Aston Martin's operations.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring proven experience delivering complex IT projects within large or highly matrixed organisations. You'll have a strong track record of managing cross-functional programmes involving internal teams, suppliers and third-party partners, whilst maintaining control of scope, timelines, budgets and business outcomes.
You'll also possess strong experience in digital transformation and business change initiatives, with the ability to navigate complexity, manage competing priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environments. Experience leading projects involving system implementations, process transformation and enterprise-wide adoption of new technologies will be essential.
We're looking for a natural collaborator who can build credibility quickly and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll be highly organised, delivery-focused and able to bring structure and control to complex programmes whilst remaining adaptable when priorities evolve.
A degree-level qualification and a recognised Project Management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent are essential. Experience working with enterprise applications such as PLM, ERP, testing platforms or requirements management tools would be highly beneficial, as would exposure to Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies. Experience with Polarion would be advantageous but is not essential.
Based at our Gaydon headquarters, this role offers flexible working arrangements with occasional travel to other Aston Martin locations as required.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-profile transformation programme within one of the world's most iconic luxury brands. You'll have the chance to influence how teams collaborate, improve delivery capability across the business and leave a lasting impact on Aston Martin's digital future.
