At Aston Martin, we are looking for two experienced HR Advisors to join our HR team providing practical, proactive and high-quality support to managers and employees across the business. These opportunities would suit someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, giving clear and pragmatic HR advice, and supporting managers to create a fair, consistent and positive employee experience.
There are two opportunities available. One is within Manufacturing Operations, reporting to the Head of HR Business Partners – Manufacturing Operations and based in Gaydon, with a working pattern of three days per week. The second is a 12-month fixed-term contract within the Global Commercial team, reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner – Commercial and based in Gaydon, with a working pattern of four days per week.
In either role, you will support the day-to-day delivery of HR across your business area, acting as a key point of contact for line managers and employees. You will provide advice on HR policies, procedures and best practice; support managers with employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases, absence management, ill health capability and performance management; and escalate more complex matters to the relevant HR Business Partner where appropriate.
You will work closely with managers and colleagues across HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and the wider HRBP team to support the full employee lifecycle. This will include maintaining accurate documentation and records, producing and interpreting people data, identifying risks and trends, supporting recruitment activity, contributing to employee engagement and listening activities, and helping to deliver HR initiatives and continuous improvement across your function.
We are looking for someone with previous HR Advisor-level experience, confidence supporting a range of employee relations matters, and a practical understanding of HR lifecycle processes, employment legislation and HR best practice. You will be comfortable balancing competing priorities, maintaining confidentiality, using people data to inform decisions, and building strong relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing, operational or commercial environment would be advantageous, but what matters most is your willingness to take a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach and provide clear, practical and timely HR support. You'll be confident partnering with managers on day-to-day challenges, helping them build their capability, make informed decisions and lead their teams with confidence.
