If you’re passionate about vehicle quality and take real pride in getting things right before they ever reach the customer, this could be the role for you.
We’re looking for a (Vehicle Processing Centre) VPC Controller to join our Aftersales team in Japan, where you’ll play a key role in making sure every vehicle delivered meets the high standards expected of Aston Martin.
In this role, you’ll be the person ensuring that vehicles arrive in market exactly as they should, meeting both our internal quality expectations and all local legislative requirements. You’ll work closely with VPC partners, dealers and global teams to oversee inspections, resolve quality concerns and continuously improve how we deliver vehicles into the region. It’s a varied role where you’ll be balancing hands-on technical oversight with data, reporting and supplier performance, all with the aim of enhancing the customer experience and protecting the brand.
You’ll also be supporting dealers with technical guidance, ensuring inspection processes are robust and up to date, and helping teams stay trained and aligned. Alongside this, you’ll monitor stock vehicle condition, support quality investigations with HQ, and make sure everything from inspections to special event vehicles is delivered to the right standard.
We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in an automotive technical environment, who is confident diagnosing and resolving issues across a range of vehicle systems, from mechanical and electrical through to trim and finish. You’ll be comfortable working with data, strong in your communication with both dealers and suppliers, and naturally focused on quality and the customer. English will be your working language, and you’ll be open to occasional travel when needed.
If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely influence vehicle quality and customer experience in-market, and want to be part of a team that cares about getting it right first time, we’d love to hear from you.
