About the role

We are seeking an Attribute Lead Analysis Engineer – Durability & Reliability to play a key role in defining and delivering durability and reliability performance across our vehicle programmes. This position sits close to vehicle testing and development, supporting the journey from early concept through to customer vehicles.

You will work with complex durability, reliability and customer data, transforming it into clear insights that support engineering decisions. The role involves close collaboration with vehicle engineering management, programme teams, commodity leaders and the prototype workshop, contributing directly to high‑performance vehicle development.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will define, calculate and maintain durability and reliability duty cycles at vehicle, system and component level. You will carry out fatigue damage calculations, analyse road load and customer data, and support the set‑up and use of instrumentation for data acquisition. Simulation, statistical analysis and structured problem‑solving will form a core part of your work, as will communicating technical findings in a clear and accessible way to a range of stakeholders. You will also provide analytical support for durability‑related issue resolution across vehicle programmes.

About you

You will bring experience in durability, reliability or related engineering analysis, with strong analytical and problem‑solving capability. You are comfortable working with large and complex datasets and have experience using tools such as MATLAB, Python or similar programming languages. Experience of road load data acquisition and automotive durability or testing environments is highly beneficial.

You enjoy collaborating across teams, are able to balance detail with big‑picture thinking, and can translate technical analysis into clear recommendations that support decision‑making.
