Aston Martin is seeking a Head of Transformation & Business Performance to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company’s corporate strategy, business planning and transformation agenda. Reporting within the Strategy & Business Office, this role acts as a strategic partner to Finance, the Executive Committee, and senior leaders across the business to ensure a sustainable, high‑performance operating model.
Role overview
- Lead and govern the annual Strategic Planning and Operating Planning cycle, working in close partnership with Finance to deliver a robust corporate plan aligned to PLC targets.
- Own the deployment of corporate strategy into functional business plans, targets and budgets, ensuring clarity, alignment and accountability across the organisation.
- Oversee the enterprise‑wide Transformation programme, embedding commitments into functional plans, tracking delivery, and driving recovery actions where performance deviates.
- Establish and lead business performance reporting and ExCo reviews, providing insight, challenge and clear recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Operate as the Corporate PMO, leading priority initiatives and projects that enhance organisational effectiveness and business performance.
- Develop and coach a high‑performing PMO team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration and delivery excellence.
About you
- Extensive experience leading strategy development, business planning and transformation within a complex, global organisation.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to link strategy to value creation and build compelling business cases.
- Proven track record of influencing at Executive Committee level and working across functions to drive alignment and results.
- Expert in programme and project governance, performance reporting and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry, including regulatory, sustainability and market dynamics, ideally within high‑end or luxury brands.
