Shape the way we support our people at Aston Martin.
At Aston Martin, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Our Employee Relations team plays a vital role in creating a fair, consistent, and supportive workplace, and we’re looking for a hands-on Employee Relations Advisor to join the team, reporting to the Employee Relations Manager.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll be involved in all aspects of employee relations. You’ll provide practical, people-focused advice to managers and employees, supporting investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and day-to-day HR queries. You’ll also help develop and roll out policies, keep up to date with employment law, and support training and coaching initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, providing clear and practical ER advice
- Managing and supporting ER cases from start to finish, escalating complex issues to the ER Manager where needed
- Coaching managers on day-to-day cases to build confidence and capability
- Supporting the development and rollout of HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Preparing dashboards, reports, and assisting with ER projects and training
- Building strong working relationships across HR, legal teams, Trade Unions, and business leaders
What we’re looking for
- Experience in an HR Advisor or ER Advisor role, with confidence in managing a variety of ER cases
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong Excel skills and an interest in data and analytics to support ER reporting and insights
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) is desirable
- Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is a plus
This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days onsite per week. Flexibility around start and finish times is required to support different locations and events. Travel between Aston Martin sites is necessary, so a valid driving licence is essential.
