JOB PURPOSE:

The Supply Chain Department is responsible for ensuring that parts are available at the point of fit to support production build.  This role will liaise between the production line / off-track areas and the relevant Material Planner / DHL to ensure any parts reported as missing at point of fit have a replacement part ordered and an estimated delivery time into site. This role will monitor the inbound replacements and ensure they are taken to the correct area for retrofit.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive outputs from the production process that will need to be acted upon and followed through to resolution.
  • Respond to parts shortages reported by Production.
  • Identify replacement parts route.
  • Update parts shortage board with ETA’s.
  • Track delivery of replacement parts and ensure delivery to correct area.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem resolution experience.
  • Ability to take task through to conclusion.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the business.
  • Ability to manage own time and conflicting priorities.
  • IT literate with good communication skills.
