As our next Planning Senior Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing all line planning activities within Aston Martin Lagonda. Your main responsibility will involve spearheading the Production planning function. This entails crafting a cohesive production plan that aligns with our business goals, including volume targets, customer service standards, and constraints. From MPS planning (in line with S/OP) to coordinating production line sequences, your role will be pivotal in ensuring operational success. This is a very hand on role that will offer you  the opportunity to use your extensive experience into more operational tasks.

To excel in this position, you must possess a keen analytical mind and excellent communication skills. Resilience and a high tolerance for stress are also essential qualities. Leading a team of 5 planning experts, both Gaydon and St Athan offices, you will be at the forefront of leading Factory Planning ensuring that all aspects of operations are operating at the most efficient solution. Your daily tasks will involve also synchronising planning efforts with the S/OP cycle and contributing to the development of planning scenarios.

In this role you must be prepared to tackle challenges head-on and adapt to changing circumstances. Handling ad hoc requests and adjusting plans accordingly will be part of your routine. However, the satisfaction of setting a plan in motion and witnessing its successful execution will be a rewarding aspect of your role.

The Key Requirements...

  • Deep understanding of automotive planning processes and materials management
  • Significant experience across Supply Chain functional areas and demonstrated ability to understand and manage complex supply chains
  • Experience in successfully liaising and influencing a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proven experience of change management and ability to drive improvements.
