Drive Global Impact with a Legacy Brand

At Aston Martin, we don’t just build cars. We create iconic experiences that travel across borders and generations. As we accelerate our global growth, we’re looking for a Trade & Customs Manager to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of international trade operations within one of the world’s most admired automotive brands.

Why this Role Matters

With exports to over 50 countries, trade and customs are at the heart of our operations. This role is critical in ensuring Aston Martin meets its international compliance obligations while unlocking opportunities through smart, streamlined processes. It’s more than logistics – it’s about safeguarding our global movement and enabling the precision engineering behind every car we craft.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, you’ll be the go-to expert driving customs compliance and innovation.
Your impact will include:

  • Supporting the Senior Manager in developing best-in-class trade and customs strategies
  • Leading day-to-day customs operations and mentoring a small, high-performing team
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for Aftersales and Special Vehicle customs queries
  • Building strong networks across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth, compliant flows
  • Designing and embedding clear processes that reduce risk and improve efficiency
  • Proactively identifying areas for improvement and leading solutions across departments
  • Delivering engaging updates and insights to senior leaders to support strategic decision-making

What We’re Looking For
You’re a confident communicator, a proactive problem-solver, and someone who pays close attention to detail. With a strong track record in international trade and customs, you thrive in fast-paced environments and naturally bring people together to create practical, effective solutions. Ideally, you’ll bring solid knowledge of UK and EU customs and international trade legislation, along with experience working in or alongside complex supply chain operations—particularly within sectors like automotive, retail, or logistics. A strategic mindset and a sharp eye for process efficiency will serve you well in this role. You’ll also be comfortable with data and digital tools, with proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Goldcrest is an advantage, and if you speak working-level French or German, that’s a welcome bonus—but not essential.

What You’ll Get
In return, you’ll join a brand with a proud heritage and a bold vision for the future. This is a role with genuine global impact and strategic reach, where your work will be recognised and valued. You’ll be part of a collaborative culture that celebrates innovation, excellence, and passion for performance. The role is hybrid, with three days a week based at our Gaydon HQ.
