Role Purpose
Aston Martin is on an exciting transformation journey to become the most desired ultra-luxury British brand. One of the key elements of our transformation is the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. An ERP comprises of world class technology and business processes which integrate to seamlessly manage our end to end value chain. We have already delivered phase one of ERP into Finance and Procurement and in 2022 will be delivering the people element of ERP – everything from HR records, our key people systems (e.g. recruitment, performance, learning) and time and attendance will migrate to one, integrated system. Our technology partner is Infor. This role will support the implementation and will be responsible for communicating throughout the project, from initiation to implementation. This role will involve defining and delivering training to customers across the business ensuring effective implementation.
This role involves working to tight timescales, identifying actions, supporting, or performing delivery, completing governance, and ultimately communicating and training those employees affected by changes as a result of the ERP.
Key Responsibilities
Support project transformation alongside the ERP Project Manager and ERP Project Team
Build an engagement plan based upon stakeholder interactions, and knowledge of the areas of change, to ensure that all stakeholders are engaged, communicated with and trained appropriately
Lead on transformation communications throughout the project to drive business change, including writing and editing a broad range of executive-level and business wide communications for both UK and international audiences
Understand the areas and magnitude of change between our ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ processes and ways of working, and ensure care and attention is made to manage the impact and train people where the most significant changes are likely
Create and deliver training materials to multiple stakeholders and customers across the business ensuring successful understanding of the new system
Ensure that effective ‘How-To’ guides are developed for self-help and learning
Evaluate the impact of the planned organisation change and developchange management strategies and communications to support the successful implementation of the project
Evaluate the impact of training and provide ongoing support during and after the system implementation as required
Supporting people through the change cycle, including helping people overcome any barriers to adopting the change through effective communication strategies and training
Build and shape relationships across the business at all stakeholder levels, including development of relationships with employees and managers to improve self service
Adapt and develop a corporate intranet to reflect the ERP changes to support employees and colleagues through the ERP
Defining success criteria and providing reports and updates on the projects KPIs
About You
Proven experience in a similar role, where you have helped to shape and deliver ERP transformation projects
Demonstrable experience of managing complex, transformational communication projects engaging with multiple stakeholders at a variety of levels
Skilled in facilitating and encouraging collaboration amongst team members, and capable of motivating teams to maximise performance
A storyteller that can research, write, edit, and publish communications with an obsession for quality and accuracy
Ability to produce and deliver effective training to multiple stakeholders across differing levels of the organisation
Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and prioritise varied workloads
Collaborative team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
