Media Fleet Attribute Coordinator

Job Purpose:

To assess and report on all attributes of the worldwide media vehicle fleet, ensuring all issues identified are recorded and rectified before vehicle release, ensuring standards are maintained globally and optimized/improved where possible. Also, to deliver high quality technical support as required on key media/customer events

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Technical ownership of the standard of Media Vehicles prepared by the Media Vehicle Ops team
  • Assess and provide feedback on vehicles during their preparation (in terms of quality/attributes) during the prep process
  • Ensure standards are maintained throughout vehicle life with regular re-assessments
  • Prepare/develop vehicles for performance/comparison tests, and coach global teams on steps to prepare for such events.
  • Provide technical support to global regions to ensure their Media vehicle fleets are correctly maintained and prepared for key events
  • Develop Media Vehicle Ops Team preparation standards, processes and documentation as part of continuous improvement
  • Coordinate/lead technical support team for Aston Martin Experience events, and key global events requiring support such as Pirelli Hot Laps during F1 calendar.
  • Drive quality improvements by implementing quality monitoring processes within Media Ops, and support input into wider business processes such as ePDR and eCMS Concerns

Qualification & Experience:

  • Proven Vehicle Attributes Assessment skills
  • Previous Planning and Coordination Experience
  • Leadership of event or activity planning
  • Leadership within a small team
  • Leadership with direct reports
  • Project Management
  • Technician and Workshop Management Experience
  • R202 experience/understanding
  • Flexible and adaptable to new situations
  • Ability to travel to support overseas events
  • Must be willing to work overtime at short notice both during the week and at weekends to support tight deadlines
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Planning and Coordination tools
  • Vehicle Diagnostics (EvoDiag, Canape, Inca)
  • Driving permit requirements
  • Able to operate within Workshop environment


  • Communication – Ability to communicate at all levels of hierarchy both written and verbally with a high degree of influence
  • Continuous improvement – As the department develops, the Media Fleet assessor will need to continue to develop their own skills and also input to the overall department’s system and process developments
  • Challenging Thinking – Necessary to ensure that the vehicles are presented to the Media appropriately, often in the face of pressure to ship vehicles to tight timescales.
  • Collaboration – An ability to work cross-functionally is a necessity, with a requirement to draw knowledge and support from multiple areas across the business.
  • Customer Focus – Media vehicles are the most critiqued vehicles, and therefore an understanding of the customer(s) (Journalists/VIPs etc.) and the products with a drive to meet exacting standards is essential.
