Job Purpose:

To work with the Sales Regions to develop and deliver a sales order plan that ensures manufacturing lead times are secured, and therefore the timely delivery of cars to customers.  Reporting on key Sales Metrics to support the decision making of the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales order plan and issue to the Sales Regions
  • Coordinate receipt of sales orders from the Regions and timely processing to Manufacturing
  • Translate the monthly forecast into the weekly sales plan and manufacturing build plan
  • Accurate and timely actual, forecast (and budget) data loaded into Cognos system
  • Creation of key reports (10-Panel, Orderbank Health, Options Take Rates)
  • Be the central point of contact for all business requests regarding sales and production data
  • Key member of the Cross Functional team to deliver MY and new model introduction making sure the Sales Ops team are kept up to date on Configurator and VOE readiness, Order Loading, Ordercall and OK-to-ship (OKTS) dates all while considering the effect on Wholesale volumes and feeding back issue into the Cross Functional Team

Qualification & Experience:

  • Strong numerate / analytical skills
  • Fully conversant with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demand planning and forecasting experience
  • Manipulation of large quantities of disparate data
  • Experience of sales operations within an automotive context (or related industry)
  • Cognos experience preferable but not essential
  • Commercial Degree

  • High attention to detail, accuracy and repeatability in data reporting
