Job Purpose:

To be responsible for the operational development and improvement of both used car sales and Financial Services within the EU regional dealer network including managing the implementation and operation of the Timeless programme, managing the return of the end of contract cars from AMFS and optimising the sales of FS products and processes.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Accountable for the implementation and successful operation of AMFS services and products for new and used cars
  • Deliver robust financial services renewals programmes & ensure that they are implemented and fully utilised in dealerships
  • Deliver daily operational support to the AMFS partners and ensure a good service and communication between the parties
  • Accountable for the collection of data to support the residual value setting process and be part of the RV risk committee
  • Own used car & FS benchmarking processes and report on the same
  • Create and deliver a regional used car strategy to improve used car sales and residual values
  • Leading the region’s network of dealers to achieve used car and extended warranty objectives through development and implementation of regional Sales, Marketing and Aftersales initiatives to increase used car volume and quality.
  • Monitor dealer composite and identify opportunities to improve profitability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance to Timeless Certified Pre-Owned standards to improve quality of used car product and customer satisfaction index results.
  • Direct remarketing activity within the region including sale of ex-fleet vehicles
  • Deliver and be accountable for the Point of Sales insurance sales strategy for the region
  • Provide monthly KPI reporting on all areas of the role

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience of the dealership buying and selling practices for used cars
  • Understanding the role and delivery of Leasing products within a dealership environment
  • High level of negotiation and dispute resolution experience
  • Project  Campaign management and planning with both internal and external resources
  • Understanding of Financial Services Compliance structures in key EU markets
  • Understanding of used cars and FS as dealership profit centres

Advantageous Experience:

  • Past experience of used car warranty sales and management
  • Past experience of Point of Sales auto finance
  • Past experience of delivering in-dealership training
