Dealer Performance Analyst

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will support in developing the dealer network, deliver an improvement in dealer performance, from sales results to profitability to CSI scores, retention rates and dealer marketing effectiveness.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing dealer/branch retail performance regularly and cross-dealer benchmarking
  • Deep-dive analyses of root causes of dealer over-/underperformance vs. the monthly, quarterly and yearly targets and vs. benchmark/other dealers as a support function to ROMs including action derivation
  • Support Central HQ Performance Development & ROM in monitoring and regularly reviewing strategic and operative KPIs
  • Support ROM in monitoring the monthly performance of effectiveness of actions and counter-steering and assisting in developing effective sales measures to ensure targets are achieved
  • Support central HQ Network Development with research the current market representation
  • Deliver assistance to ROM with management of regional network and dealer headcount development
  • Tracking, measuring and reviewing Sales Channel Planning to deliver deeper insights into optimal channel mix and local (e.g. small fleet)
  • CSI performance tracking and improvement management as a cross-function and link to overall Customer Journey footprint including After Sales and Usage phase
  • Defining and providing Sales Operations support
  • Communicating with the management the dealer analysis and reports on time
  • Support ROM in preparation of formal recommendations to the Regional Management & the Dealer Management for approval regarding actionable measures for dealer performance improvement

Qualification & Experience:

  • Proven experience in broad automotive retail and/or regional office role(s)
  • Experience in network and dealer network development
  • Excellent planning & analytical experience with strong ability to think logically
  • Good understanding of all Commercial organization and business processes
  • Previous knowledge and experience of running CRM, Dealer or training systems within the automotive and / or franchise             retail sales sector
  • Working knowledge of Sales Operations, audit & collecting/reporting best practices
  • Project management & cross functional collaboration experience
  • Experience with luxury goods manufacturers business development (advantageous)
