Start date: ASAP
We are looking for a reliable and highly organised HR Support professional to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract to assist with a high-volume organisational change project based onsite in St Athan. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and experience supporting ER or consultation activity, who is available immediately or at very short notice.
About the role
Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will provide essential day-to-day support throughout the consultation process. Your work will ensure meetings are well-coordinated, documentation is accurate, and both managers and employees receive timely and consistent information.
This is a fully onsite role (5 days per week) at St Athan, and you must be able to travel to the site reliably. While core working hours will apply, there will be occasions where flexibility is required outside standard office hours to support business needs during key stages of the project.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting individual consultation meetings, including at-risk discussions.
- Coordinating with leaders to ensure processes and procedures are followed correctly.
- Providing daily administrative and coordination support to the HR Business Partner across all project activities.
- Owning the scheduling, booking and tracking of all consultation meetings from start to end.
- Sharing regular updates and responding to general manager and employee queries.
- Setting up and maintaining the project SharePoint site, including storing documents, FAQs and consultation materials.
- Preparing and issuing documentation such as letters, packs, templates and meeting scripts.
- Supporting the HR team to ensure all materials, plans, and documents are accurate and ready for use.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in redundancy, consultation or high-volume ER administration
- Is highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple tasks at pace.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with colleagues at all levels.
- Builds strong working relationships and remains calm under pressure.
- Can work five days a week onsite and is flexible to support extended hours when required.
- Is available immediately or with a very short notice period.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key support role during a significant organisational project, working closely with an experienced HR team and contributing to the smooth delivery of the consultation process.
If you’re ready to step into a busy, varied role and support a project that makes a meaningful difference, we would love to hear from you.
