What You’ll Be Doing:
As an AI Engineering Apprentice, you'll work alongside engineers and data scientists on projects such as:
- Developing and testing AI models for self-driving features, predictive maintenance, and smart vehicle behaviour.
- Assisting with data collection and annotation for machine learning.
- Supporting the integration of AI algorithms into simulation environments and hardware systems.
- Working with Python, machine learning libraries (like PyTorch/TensorFlow), and automotive tools like ROS or MATLAB.
- Participating in team sprints, technical reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking an individual who is eager to learn, solve problems, and make an impact in the automotive tech world.
Essential requirements:
- 3 B’s at A level to include Mathematics and Physics*
- Applicants with a strong profile who are studying A level Physics or A level Mathematics may be considered.
- Unless specified differently above, you will also need a minimum of GCSE grade 4 or C (or an equivalent qualification) in English Language and either Mathematics or a Science subject.
- Able to commute to Gaydon headquarters by personal transport, due to limited public transport to the site.
