As our next Finance Graduate, you'll become a valued member of our Finance team. As part of your role, you’ll learn how the department operates, and become familiar with the Aston Martin ways of working.

To excel in this role, you'll be responsible for establishing yourself as a trusted finance business partner. You will work with colleagues in the business to build accurate financial models and track business performance against relevant KPIs. Additionally, you will provide insight to business partners to enhance financial performance and ensure expenditure remains in line with the budget. It will be your responsibility to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements of the business operations under your control. Proficiency with Excel and data visualisation tools is essential, as is a strong desire to learn about the automotive industry and pursue a career in Finance.

Your strong work ethic, empathy for colleagues across functions, inquisitive nature, and the ability to deliver on your promises, make you the ideal candidate for this role. Working as part of a team, you'll be instrumental in driving the success of the finance function. Your day-to-day activities will revolve around financial planning, analysis, and reporting, all aimed at supporting the overall financial performance of the business.

You're not the type to shy away from challenges or lack the effort and dedication required. On the contrary, you're driven by exposure to various business functions and different facets of a finance team, and the opportunity to gain a professional accounting qualification, which will be supported and sponsored by the company. This role isn't just a job to you; it's about being part of a team and contributing to the success of the AML. It's a chance for you to showcase your skills and establish yourself as a valuable asset to the company.

  • Aspiration/commitment to pursue a recognised accounting qualification and career in Finance
  • Key skills are attention to detail, relationship building, effective communication, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and strong numerical and verbal reasoning
