ePowertrain High Voltage Integration Graduate

As our next ePowertrain High Voltage Integration Graduate, you'll be a valued member of our ePowertrain team. As part of your role, you’ll learn how the department operates, and become familiar with our simulation of our high-voltage systems.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be a driven, quick learner with excellent communication skills and the right attitude. We're really keen to bring in someone who is open to listening and taking advice and guidance from a more experienced team member.

In this role, you’ll be working within simulation where you’ll be tasked with battery or converter and agree on a time frame and come up with a rough simulation version which you will fine-tune as we progress. As there will likely be issues you’ll have excellent time management and prioritising skills as you’ll need to prioritise the issues and have a solution-focused mindset to find resolutions.

Working with a small team of skilled engineers, you'll be responsible for integrating high-voltage systems into our iconic cars. This role is split 50/50 between the shop floor and the desk. You’ll have the chance to work on cutting-edge technology and be at the forefront of innovation. The Key Requirements...

  • A degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering. (Anything electrical bias)
  • Simulation knowledge or experience preferred e.g. Matlab/Can bus etc.
  • Driven individual who has the ability to ask questions and wants to learn
  • Enthusiasm and motivation for working at Aston Martin
  • Solution-focused mindset

The scheme…

This is a two-year rotational scheme within different areas of the ePowertrain department, where you’ll spend specific periods gaining invaluable experience and knowledge within our key areas.

This scheme starts on Monday 2nd September 2024.

  • Phone interview – with a member of the Talent Acquisition team (20 minutes)

  • Outcome – we will let you know the outcome of your assessment centre attendance
