Job Purpose:

To lead a team that enables the company to understand the existing and emerging quality issues facing the organisation.

To prioritise work across R&D, Quality and Production by determining the most useful ways to analyse that data via statistical analysis and the combination of inputs from multiple sources to create a coherent understanding of field issues.

To develop a reporting suite of standard metrics, aligned to industry best practice, that enables clear and consistent understanding of current and future business performance

To identify novel approaches that ensure AML have leading edge analytics capability (e.g. data mining)

To work will all other management in the department, cross functionally and with external providers to lead Aftersales strategy development and implementation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identification of relevant data sources enabling understanding AML Field quality status for both existing and emerging issues
  • Determination of how that data should be utilized to determine key insights
  • Leadership of a team who are expert users of statistical and database analytical tools
  • Determining the effectiveness of problem resolution and field actions in improving performance
  • Reporting to the Executive team both via standard KPIs and at the Quality Committee
  • Creation of Aftersales strategy
  • Engaging with 3rd party data mining providers

Qualification & Experience:

  • Team management experience.
  • Complex data analysis including the use of statistics
  • Technical vehicle knowledge
  • Understanding of dealer processes
  • Minimum BSc in Mathematics or BEng degree
