Job Purpose:

This position is for a qualified CRM Manager, to be the central contact and custodian of our Salesforce estate, with responsiblity for the day-to-day management of Salesforce CRM (sales cloud, service cloud and marketing cloud) and Communities for the HQ, Regional Teams and Aston Martin Global Dealer Network.  This person will be responsible for all elements of the Aston Martin Salesforce organisation including support requests, new users, transferring commercial needs into detailed requirements, testing and driving continuous improvements in data management and accuracy.  They will also be responsible for reporting and analytics in terms of sales funnel and the ROI of the various campaigns.  A passionate advocate for Salesforce and a subject matter expert, this role is responsible for pro-actively developing our CRM system to better meet the changing needs of the business and working coherently with our wider digital ecosystem.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To be the internal subject matter expert for Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud within Aston Martin and the central point of contact for all day to day enquiries relating to CRM, sales funnel, campaigns, etc. for Aston Martin global dealers and internal colleagues.   
  • Responsibility for data management and identification of accurate audiences and segmentation, to enable implementation of automated journeys within marketing cloud
  • Work with designated agencies to support implementation of digital transformation, with a particular focus on data management
  • Transforming business needs into detailed requirements for development within the Salesforce architecture and user interface
  • Support integration of cross channel/source data collection into Salesforce and assist with the mapping of more personalised journeys within the digital ecosystem
  • Run and document monthly meetings with regional teams to build a collaborative approach to CRM management and be the guardian of the global system
  • Support the development of the CRM strategy to improve – customer acquisition, lead generation, sales conversion, customer loyalty and ROI reporting
  • Give support on how CRM can assist with the delivery of the overall marketing strategy and customer journey  (Marketing Communications, Launch Strategy, Product Strategy, Client Support, Global Dealer network, etc.)
  • Responsible for creation and management of all CRM reporting and delivering evidence of ROI
  • Responsible for customer data accuracy and cleansing processes
  • Monitoring the activation of tailored communications to ensure appropriate engagement amongst the relevant audiences
  • Support in the delivery of Dealer & Regional Marketing Plans
  • Drive culture of constant improvement in our CRM practice and process
  • Ensure that Aston Martin makes maximum use of the investment made in Salesforce products and adopt relevant updates in a timely manner

Qualification & Experience:

  • Solid experience within the Salesforce environment, preferable with specific sales, service and marketing cloud experience. Typically this will be in the region of around 4 years.
  • Hands-on practical experience in CRM systems, processes and development requirements, in a commercial function
  • Certification/accreditation requirements  - Salesforce ADM 201, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certification, Marketing Cloud certified
  • Experience of running CRM and communication programmes within the luxury and/or retail sales sector
  • Experience of successful execution of marketing campaigns in an international context, using a data led approach to target specific audiences with personalised communications 
  • Experience of planning, implementing and measuring ROI of individual direct marketing campaigns via simple, highly visual reports
  • Proven project management, dealer & cross-functional influencing skills
  • Able to clearly and succinctly articulate complex ideas
  • Knowledge and understanding of process builder and workflows
  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce communities
  • Marketing or equivalent business degree / CIM diploma in marketing or business/ economics/project management qualification or. Business/Economics/Management senior qualification

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, - experience of working cross functionally and able to influence/negotiate with senior management & stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of marketing best practices
  • Excellent organisational skills with an analytical approach to problem solving and project management
  • Previous experience of managing agencies & third parties
  • Analytical and reporting skills to measure business impact of CRM activities (ROI)
