Job Purpose:

Responsible to drive recruitment excellence for a portfolio of vacancies across different functional departments. You will be the main point of contact for stakeholders (hiring managers) and candidates during the recruitment process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end to end recruiting process including job advertising, CV sourcing, initial interviewing, compensation benchmarking and offer negotiations and closing.
  • Build strong relationships with HR team members, internal business areas and managers ensuring knowledge sharing and collaboration at all times.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to identify current and future talent needs and provide regular recruitment updates.
  • Take ownership and play an active role in the on-going management of vacancies within selected business areas.
  • Utilise active and passive sourcing channels to attract candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals and market presence in relation to vacancies.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships and timely communication with internal stakeholders and external candidates throughout the recruiting process.
  • Management of candidate feedback ensuring a positive candidate experience from application to offer.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Diversified 360 recruitment experience (In-house and / or recruitment agency), ideally within the automotive or engineering industry.
  • Excellent direct sourcing capabilities utilising active and passive sourcing channels for a range of varied positions as well as interviewing and assessment techniques.
  • Experience in crafting job adverts, probing interview questions and other hiring material that contain non-biased language.
  • Proven experience of generating an audience on social media, and engaging with them.
  • Outstanding customer relationship management skills with an ability to create collaborative partnerships to become a trusted partner for hiring managers.
  • Solid negotiation and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge decisions where necessary.
  • Experience of operating in a fast paced environment and flexible and adaptable to change and ambiguity.
  • Ability to resolve recruitment issues or challenges that do not have routine solutions.
  • Proven experience in handling and delivering volume recruitment campaigns along with demonstrable process delivery.
  • Keen eye for, and excellent attention to detail - please mention "Vantage" in your covering application notes.
  • Knowledge of working with an ATS system (we use PageUp).
  • Experience of creating data-driven analysis of recruitment activities.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise activities, and manage your own schedule.
