Job Purpose:

  • Strategic development, implementation and reporting of all aspects of Regional Finance, Leasing and other tactical Variable Marketing programs working with AML Finance/Sales & Regional Marketing/Communications teams.
  • Strategic development, implementation and reporting of Residual Value (RV) improvement programs.
  • Reporting of all Variable Marketing Expenditure within AMTA region.  Measuring success and providing fully evaluated proposals for regional approval.
  • Identify and drive successful implementation of efficiencies and process improvements throughout the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Regional finance manager to create detailed financial budgets and business plan inputs, ensuring business targets at met
  • Monitor, track and report regional profitability versus budget/forecast through the production of monthly management accounting information including timely dashboard reporting.
  • Develop and manage financial reporting activities in support of the operations including tracking and reporting of regional and dealer KPI’s as required by heads of the workstream’s and AML Operating Committee /management.
  • Work closely with and provide strong independent advice to operations management to ensure good, financially sound business decisions are made.
  • Support, advise and where appropriate challenge the operations and management teams to ensure regional profitability targets are met
  • Work closely with Finance and the operational teams to develop cash and profit improvement plans to correct deviation to budgets. Ensure all financial risks and opportunities are documented clearly providing transparency to the Senior Management team. Drive the delivery of opportunities and support risk mitigation activities
  • Coach and advise finance and operational teams to understand and employ good business behaviours
  • Work with finance strategy, planning and reporting function on robust target setting, business case analysis, sensitivity analysis and status reporting enabling data driven business decisions
  • Work with AML Finance & Sales to agree quarterly VM budgets for tactical programs.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop tactical Consumer Finance, retail VM programs & sales specialist incentives, creating and distributing dealer bulletins.
  • Work with Bank & Regional Field teams to promote dealer participation & training in Consumer Finance programs
  • Work with Dealers and other Regional & AML stakeholders to develop a benchmark CPO program including extended service contracts, point of sale materials, and consumer messaging. Maximize Dealer engagement & profit opportunity, long-term RVs and target cost-to-trade for loyal customers
  • Work with Marketing team to coordinate consumer messaging for Consumer Finance & Pre-Owned
  • Work with RV Forecast supplier to provide AM inputs & develop quarterly RV forecast & portfolio valuation. Monitor trends and make recommendations to support long term health of RVs
  • Other analytical and reporting responsibilities in support of Business Development initiatives 


  • Deliver Americas contribution and wholesales targets
  • Develop and deliver financial metrics reporting and deliver objective and constructive feedback to Operations and Sales team.
  • Improve residual value standing of Aston Martin new model years vehicles
  • Develop re-marketing programs for end of term and off-lease vehicle owners

Qualification & Experience:

  • College degree required with Finance, Accounting, or Statistics a plus
  • Minimum 10 years with OEM, Dealer, Consumer Finance or in Sales Support, or Finance role
  • Minimum 2 years working for an OEM or Auto Finance company coordinating Consumer programs
  • Experience in managing key strategic relationships with outside suppliers and partners
  • Team player, capable of engaging senior internal/ external stakeholders with effective communication
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and balance multiple requirements with structured approach
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to represent brand in front of external audiences
  • Excellent proficiency with Spreadsheet software and quantitative analytical skills
  • Experience in planning, budget setting and management of suppliers and agencies is required.
  • Self-starter, able to work autonomously yet ensure all relevant parties are kept well informed
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Experience of business and financial analysis including the following discipline experiences; Sales and marketing, business profit analysis & budgeting, dealership financial management
  • Strong people management, negotiation and influencing skills, capable at leading a collaborative approach to generate buy-in
  • Capable of making presentations with confidence and clarity
  • Ability to present complex information in a structured, logical manner
  • Ability to travel 40% including international
