At our AMR Performance Centre Nürburgring, located directly at the entrance of the famous Nordschleife, we are offering the position as Expert - Import/Export.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth running of daily customs handling including handling of suppliers
  • Classification of products/parts and its monitoring, obtaining of all relevant information
  • Development of new internal processes and adaption of existing ones as process owner
  • Self-dependant valuation of import/export declarations
  • Survey of legal requirements
  • Contact to authorities (custom office, BAFA etc)
  • Arrangement of meetings, issuing meeting minutes, creating and surveillance of processes
  • Excellent communication and cooperation with all related departments in our Headquarter in Gaydon and our branches
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting

 

Your profile:

  • Degree level commercial education or the equivalent as well as 3+ years of experience in a related industry
  • Work experience in customs handling is mandatory, experience with ATLAS is welcome
  • Excellent skills in German and English, strong understanding of business etiquette, corporate standards, company policies and procedures
  • Good accounting and finance background mandatory
  • Clear, accurate and concise reporting with high commitment to deliver within periods prescribed
  • Distinct task skills, such as planning, prioritisation, objective setting, meeting management, plan execution
  • Proven team player, high awareness for safety and risk assessments
