Global Imaging Group (GIG) nestles within the prestigious Design team, it is the creative hub for all non-automotive projects. Its scope is far-reaching, from real estate projects, submarines and yachts right through to designing a humble pin badge. Jo b Purpose
Ensure the consistent and efficient promotion of the Brand image. Deliver support for Marcomms, Design and Sales in all graphic design work. The individual will be expected to produce high quality visuals to support worldwide events, product collateral and brochures, Merchandise, AoL and Internal communication materials. They will be responsible for creating and curating a Brand Reference Library of graphical resource and logos.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks
The individual will be a key member of a small group delivering Graphic Design support to the Brand Extension, Marcomms, Sales, Design, Merchandise and Q departments for Aston Martin.
Scope of work:
CI compliant templates, PPT’s and layouts
Special Projects Brochures
Corporate screen savers
Merchandise/licensee Graphic support
This will include the maintenance of the Brand Reference Library for graphical resource and logos, to be shared to the business.
Required to be expert in the use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign in all its capabilities.
Creation of logos for use on vehicles and collateral material
Video and animation capabilities are a desirable addition
Demonstrate a creative ability to stay at the forefront of Graphic Design and CI delivery.
Contribute effectively to team technical discussions to ensure that the processes stay effective. Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD) and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design, using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Provide technical information and support to senior management for design reviews.
Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account execs, web developers and marketing.
Carry out special projects, as directed by management.
Plan and prioritise own workload
Qualifications & Experience
Educated to degree level or equivalent related discipline, with relevant creative and production graphic design experience
Extensive industry relevant experience
Experience of Illustrator to high level of proficiency.
Experience of Photoshop to high level of proficiency.
Experience of InDesign to high level of proficiency.
Experience in video/animation software
Demonstration of ability through visual portfolio.
Logo creation and typography
After effect would be advantageous
Portfolio of work demonstrating an artistic eye and mastery of design elements, such as colour, visual hierarchy and composition
Capable of managing multiple complex projects and processes simultaneously
Many years of experience working in a cross functional environment and adjusts well to changing circumstances, working well in a busy, deadline-driven dynamic environment
Delivery of production ready design work for print and digital media
Ability to research and promote process improvements
