Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Primarily to manage the relationship between Aston Martin and its key energy partners – TOTAL in the case of Aston Martin globally and ExxonMobil with regard to Valkyrie. In addition, other “smaller” brand and technical partners may be nominated in due course
  • To be the primary point of contact at Aston Martin for those brands and to provide a consultative activation service to those partners
  • Ensure that both parties maximise each partnership to its fullest potential, so that the agreement may be upsold/increased on renewal
  • Have experience and a sound grasp of partnership and sponsorship contracts
  • Implement/deliver and track the assets and services Aston Martin provides under the terms of each agreement
  • Manage an allocated budget in respect of each partner, in order to deliver those assets and services
  • Have experience in renewing and upselling agreements at the end of their term
  • Work across several key Aston Martin functions/departments, to deliver contractual assets and fully integrate partners into AM’s core marketing and communications activities (global and regional):

 - PR & Communications

 - Digital

 - Events

  • Co-write an activation plan with each partner, identifying the key milestones and opportunities for them to engage with Aston Martin’s own roadmap
  • Work with colleagues to provide a suite of core activation assets e.g. brand partner guidelines, photography and film footage, activation calendar
  • Work with marketing, communications and design, to ensure timely approvals of materials submitted for approval by the partners
  • Be prepared to travel to meetings and events for the purposes of hosting partners and their VIP guests

Relevant Experience:

  • Experience in managing and activating strategic commercial relationships e.g. partnerships, sponsorships, licensees
  • Ideally some experience of working with or at an automotive brand
  • Solid grasp of the “Marketing Mix” – Above and below the line

Skills and Abilities:

  • Communication – Ability to bring people on a journey
  • Credibility – Able to engage with senior level execs and CEOs
  • Presentations – Able to write presentations and present them
  • IT skills – E-mail, Word, Powerpoint, Excel & an understanding of social media platforms


 Educated to degree level

The second language – French would be ideal

Remuneration Package:

  • Salary - circa £45,000 per annum.
