Location: St. Athan, South Wales
To be a member of a team responsible to the Group Leader for vehicle assembly & fitting of components in various stages of assembly on the Production line
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Carry out work in line with the process and standards required using the Company’s on-screen instruction system.
Ensure work is conducted to the required quality standards.
Adhere to all risk assessment and Health & Safety regulations.
Ensure work is completed within cycle time.
Support quality, productivity and process improvement initiatives.
Store controlled substances/components into correct track side location.
Adhere to Company housekeeping processes.
Carry out Lean Production activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Working knowledge of vehicle assembly is advantageous
Manual dexterity, mechanical/quality aptitude.
Successful candidates will be required to support/work in other areas as may be necessary.
Able to train others on process and job role requirements
Control vehicle movement and management within inspection areas
Liaise with third party logistics carrier for handover of finished vehicles from Gaydon
I mportant Information
Starting salary £26,507 per annum + shift allowance+ holiday bonus £500 paid in June (pro-rated from start date)
26 days holiday per year + Bank holidays

Positions due to commence from the week beginning 9th April 2018
Initial training period to be based at Gaydon HQ then transfer to South Wales in first quarter of 2019.
Successful applicants will be responsible for sourcing their own accommodation
This position will be working a shift pattern which will be determined by Production area
