Create, Implement and coordinate Take-to-Market (Launch) plans of all new 4-door and product content. Support Cross-Functional work across Marcom and other Commercial departments for launches from concept to post-market launches.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Execute effective Take-to-market plans – meeting both business objectives and fully utilising all aspects of Marcoms
Support cross-functional working as follow up for all Marcom's functions to ensure timely delivery of all requirements for a cost-effective and on time launch
Face-off to other areas such as Design, Manufacturing & Product Development to deliver launch requirements on time
Special focus on all
4-door related project launches of Rapide, DBX and Lagonda – working with Q / VIP sales team where necessary to create and run a credible take to market plan that fulfils the expectations of our most important customers Presenter of launch status reports for wider commercial function and to senior management
Detailed understanding and communication of the target customers and regions for the product in question
Development and communication of core Product Messaging & positioning
Support the creation and launch of marketing and sales concepts/experiences/events – be the product specialist
Present & drive product to customers, prospects, media and dealers
Pre-production vehicle planning, specification, agreement & ordering
Logistics organiser behind all launch vehicles – getting the assets to market and return. Ensuring fair and appropriate distribution according to launch targets
Liaising with regions to organise launch & regional tour plans & logistics
Become the 4-door product guru within the Marcom team with the first-class product, market and customer expertise.
Financial budgeting & planning for launches – across all functions in Marcoms.
Marcom liaison with Engineering, Manufacturing, Design & Finance.
The coordinate input of customer & market requirements into launch plan (regional liaison).
Develop tactical current product action plans when required.
Appoint and work with agencies to support with launches.
Manage and justify the usage of the launch budget – create ROI reports
Liaison with regions and dealers to ensure the launch plan fits with their sales objectives.
Maintain awareness of customer and market trends to enable the identification, anticipation and fulfilment of customer requirements for Aston Martin, in collaboration with the regions. This will include a thorough understanding of the HLS market and awareness of competitor content and channels offerings
Participate and support in activities related to demand creation and brand development for AML worldwide
Seek process improvements and cost savings in all associated marketing areas
Part responsible for the overall TTM budget – including planning and executing pre-production cars, rework costs and oversight role for costs of all Marcom areas – ensuring on budget deliveries
Qualifications & Experience:
Marketing or equivalent business degree / CIM diploma in marketing or Business/Economics/Management senior qualification
Fluency in other foreign languages desirable
Experience with delivery complex and variable projects, with product and market knowledge of the luxury sector
Worked with overseas offices/ foreign entities previously
Managed similar cross function roles across different departments successfully
Previous knowledge and experience of developing Marketing/PR plans and using experts for all areas of marketing and PR disciplines
Demonstrate the ability to implement and measure ROI on individual marketing campaigns
Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Lead Management, campaign systems.
Project management, dealer & cross-functional influencing skills
Previous knowledge and experience of leading cross-functional teams within the luxury and/or retail sales sector
Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills, - able to influence/counter argue senior management & dealers
Knowledge of marketing best practices
Developing project management skills
Analytical approach to problem-solving
Previous experience of coordinating agencies & external third parties
The capability and commercial awareness to identify opportunities to improve conversion, retention and repurchase rates
Analytical and reporting skills to measure the business impact of the effective content and channels strategy (ROI)
Salary – circa £36,000
